The Princess And The Frog in theaters Dec. 11, 2009




Disney has just debuted the second full-length theatrical trailer for The Princess and the Frog, their return to both hand-drawn animation and classic princess fairy tales. Disney Animation has a few great releases this fall, starting with Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D on October 2nd, and continuing with The Princess and the Frog in December.

The movie, which opens Dec. 11, is an animated musical comedy set in New Orleans and comes from the creators of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. It puts a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.

The Princess and the Frog marks the return to hand-drawn animation of the team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar-winning composer Randy Newman.
